This space was created to welcome others into the journey of discovering and embracing words that breathe life into our longing souls. It is a space intended to cultivate the healing and transformation of hearts, minds, and lives.
I am not alone in this beautiful labor.
The Scriptures confirm that God used words to create the world :
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.”...Genesis 1:1-3
“By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible…” Hebrews 11:3
“For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stood firm.” Psalm 33:9
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made.” John 1:1-3
A deeper reading reveals that God, who spoke the world into existence with His words, took on the form of humanity, entering physically into the world He created, and became the Living Word - speaking, breathing on, and transforming the very world He inhabited.
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14
His Words carried an authority over all that held humanity captive, because they were words that came from Heaven, from the King of Heaven Himself.
The story doesn’t end there, though! Jesus spent Himself and His Words to reconcile a world full of darkness and chaos, a world full of lost and wandering souls, a world full of disillusions and disappointments, to the Father, and then He poured Himself into those Who responded to His gracious invitation to life.
When He returned to Heaven, He sent His Spirit to fill His disciples - those who believed in and followed Him - not just in those days, but for all time - so that they could continue what He had begun.

​“Again he said, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.’ 22 Then he breathed on them and said, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit.’” John 20:21-22
I believe that God is still speaking words of life today, to draw a hurting world toward the life He has promised. It is one of my greatest passions to partner with His Spirit in releasing what Heaven is saying over people, and to encourage them in believing that the One Who gave us life and breath is the restorer and redeemer of all things. His goodness is unrivaled, and His Presence changes everything.
I am on a journey to discover all the more that God is continually holding out for me, for us, to know.
